Corey Ball

I just wanted to write a to post to give a shout out to my husband.  I don't know what I would do with out him.  He's honestly the best thing that has happened to me.  He is so amazing and he does something every day that makes me love him that much more. Corey is one of my most favortie topics to talk about.

Just a few things about him:
He's so funny, he seriously is making me laugh all day long.
He's so thoughtful. Like to day I woke up late and came out of the room to see him and Olivia and he made me get back in bed so that they could bring me breakfast in bed.  And then he made sure that I went out with a couple of friends because he said  I needed a girls day.
I always said, since I was a little girl, that I would marry a chef.  If you know Corey, you know what an amainzg cook he is.  And he makes dinner 95% of the time and can whip something up out of nothing. He always amazes me when he cooks.
Corey is so good with Olivia.  She lights up when she sees him and every time he comes home from school he gives me a kiss and then goes straight for Olivia to play with her and love on her.
He treats me like a princess and I couldn't be luckier!!
And of course he's HOT!! like smokin' HOT. like I said, I'm lucky

I could go on an on about how awesome of a husband and dad he is but I don't want to bore you. So now time for a few of my favorite pics of my favorite man.

He's still a kid at heart
If you know Corey, then you know this picture sums him up: cheesecake and cats

We're not sure if we're going to take Olivia trick-or-treating, but I bought her the cutest little ladybug outfit so I knew  I wanted to do something, especially since Halloween is my favorite holiday.  There's a couple in our ward who have a little boy 2 weeks older than Olivia, and yes they love each other. They were in the same situation as us and so we decided to ask them to come with us to a little neighborhood Halloween party.  They were passing out candy, having apple cider and had hayrides. It was more mellow then we were expecting but we still had a great time.

Jack-O-Lanterns

It's Olivia's first Halloween and we wanted her to experience pumpkin carving with us. Plus, I knew she'd love the way the seeds felt.  We went to the store and found the roundest, orangest pumpkins we could find, and little baby ones for her :)  Corey and I went online and found the designs we wanted to use and got started.

This isn't what we expected...

It was about a month ago that I found out.  It was a Sunday night, Corey and I were sitting down watching a movie.  My stomach hurt so bad, and I was extremely nauseous.  I went to bed early and the next morning when I woke up I didn't feel any better.  I told Corey, that either I was getting the flu or I was pregnant agian.  He didn't think either was funny, I said I wasn't joking.  I told him we needed to go to Wal-Mart to get some pregnancy test, and he said "why do we need to find out? If you are you are." I told him I would feel better if I knew for sure, so we got  in the car and went to the store.
We came home and i took one and 3 minutes later when I went to check it said "PREGNANT" my heart sank. I wasn't ready for this at all.  So I went and drank 521646 cups of water and took the other to test.  They both came back positive as well.
Olivia's only 6 months (now seven) old. How was/am I/we going to handle a newborn baby so soon? Espcecially with Corey trying to double major and he's taking 20 credits a semester.  This is the question corey and I kept asking ourselves.  but then we kept thinking about, and we talked about all the ways we tried to prevent us from getting pregnant and it still happened. This must mean that it wasn't decdied by our timing but our Heavenly Father's and that it is meant for us to have our second child.
As the shock is wearing off we are slowly getting more and more excited. Olivia is already so big, crawling all over, almost walking. She puts herself to sleep, she's just such a big girl and it all happened so fast that I'm excited to have a baby agian.  I'm exctied for her to help me out and to have a little buddy to play with.
We went to the doctor on Tuesday and found out that I'm 10 weeks (2 1/2 months) along and the little guy (we all think its a boy, we'll see) was moving and kicking so much!! The baby is due May 17, 2012.  We are every excited/nervous/terrified/thrilled to see how everything will work out :)

6 months old

I can't believe my big girl turns 6 months old today!!  Since Olivia has been born Corey and I have learned so much about ourselves.  She is our whole world and we don't even remember what life was like before her.  Poor little girl has been sick since Monday, and on Tuesday she had to get her shots which caused her to have a fever :( she was so miserable. But today, she woke up feeling much better and not nearly as snotty as she has been.  And even though she has been sick she's still been her normally fun, loving self with the biggest smile.

Here's some of my favorite pictures

Dear Olivia,
I want you to know how much I love you and how grateful I am to have you in my life.  You bring me so much joy and happiness.  I can't wait to see what you're going to be like when you're 6, 16, and 26, but for right now I'm just going to enjoy you and six months and I wont take every day for granted!!

Rexubrg Police

Today started out like any other Sunday, Olivia woke up, I got dolled up for church, Corey fed Olivia and got ready himself and off we go.  The talks were great and it was so fun hearing from the men how much they loves their wives.  Well we had to come home after the first hour because Olivia kept spitting up and it smelt AWFUL!! Rotten milk is not a smell you can just deal with.

So we're pulling up to our house and (I forgot to mention we have a friend staying with us) there are two cop cars outside our complex and a guy who has a big scruffy beard and maybe looks a little homeless.  We get a little closer and I say to Corey "that's Russell!!" (the friend staying here.)  Apparently he had gone for a little run this morning after we left and got locked out.  He was trying to get in through one of the windows and someone called the police.  We pulled up and they walked over to our car and asked Corey if he was staying with us, told us what happened and we just started cracking up!! Apparently, Russell had just been outside talking to the cops for about half an hour just chatting with them, waiting for us to get home. And they also sent a cop to our church building to try and find us. Could you just imagine, us sitting in class and a cop coming and pulling us out, hahaha oh gosh I would have loved to see the look on some faces..
