We're not sure if we're going to take Olivia trick-or-treating, but I bought her the cutest little ladybug outfit so I knew  I wanted to do something, especially since Halloween is my favorite holiday.  There's a couple in our ward who have a little boy 2 weeks older than Olivia, and yes they love each other. They were in the same situation as us and so we decided to ask them to come with us to a little neighborhood Halloween party.  They were passing out candy, having apple cider and had hayrides. It was more mellow then we were expecting but we still had a great time.

Jack-O-Lanterns

It's Olivia's first Halloween and we wanted her to experience pumpkin carving with us. Plus, I knew she'd love the way the seeds felt.  We went to the store and found the roundest, orangest pumpkins we could find, and little baby ones for her :)  Corey and I went online and found the designs we wanted to use and got started.

2. Next a layer of guacamole

3. Then a layer of sour cream

4. A layer of slasa

5. And to top it off a layer of cheese, chives, and black olives

This isn't what we expected...

It was about a month ago that I found out.  It was a Sunday night, Corey and I were sitting down watching a movie.  My stomach hurt so bad, and I was extremely nauseous.  I went to bed early and the next morning when I woke up I didn't feel any better.  I told Corey, that either I was getting the flu or I was pregnant agian.  He didn't think either was funny, I said I wasn't joking.  I told him we needed to go to Wal-Mart to get some pregnancy test, and he said "why do we need to find out? If you are you are." I told him I would feel better if I knew for sure, so we got  in the car and went to the store.
We came home and i took one and 3 minutes later when I went to check it said "PREGNANT" my heart sank. I wasn't ready for this at all.  So I went and drank 521646 cups of water and took the other to test.  They both came back positive as well.
Olivia's only 6 months (now seven) old. How was/am I/we going to handle a newborn baby so soon? Espcecially with Corey trying to double major and he's taking 20 credits a semester.  This is the question corey and I kept asking ourselves.  but then we kept thinking about, and we talked about all the ways we tried to prevent us from getting pregnant and it still happened. This must mean that it wasn't decdied by our timing but our Heavenly Father's and that it is meant for us to have our second child.
As the shock is wearing off we are slowly getting more and more excited. Olivia is already so big, crawling all over, almost walking. She puts herself to sleep, she's just such a big girl and it all happened so fast that I'm excited to have a baby agian.  I'm exctied for her to help me out and to have a little buddy to play with.
We went to the doctor on Tuesday and found out that I'm 10 weeks (2 1/2 months) along and the little guy (we all think its a boy, we'll see) was moving and kicking so much!! The baby is due May 17, 2012.  We are every excited/nervous/terrified/thrilled to see how everything will work out :)
